Your driver will provide a 1 hour narrative tour highlighting all aspects of the City of Hamilton. Enjoy a ride around the city learning about Bermuda and its history. Your tour will include highlight such as Perots Post office, City Hall, House of Parliament, the Bermuda Cathedral, Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute and much more.
Your tour will start and end outside the Ferry Terminal on Front Street in Hamilton. Climb aboard anyone of the three Trolleys and enjoy an open air ride around the city. Departure time is 10:15 am and after a quick introduction by your driver the tour will start with a loop around Albouys Point and up Queen street past our famous Perots Post office. The Post office was built in 1842 and is still a working post office today. Next door is home to the Bermuda Historical Society Museum and the Bermuda National Library. Turning east down Church Street we see City Hall which houses the Bermuda National Gallery, Bermuda Society of Arts exhibitions as well as the Earl Camera Theater. Just further along you can see the Bermuda Cathedral which was completed in 1869 and rebuilt again using Bermuda Stone in 1884 after a fire with a Gothic Revival Architectural style. Also on Church Street is the Sessions House which has housed the House of Assembly( lower House of Parliament) since 1826. Exiting the City you will see that the Bermuda Fire Service station is located just below Fort Hamilton. Fort Hamilton was completed in 1889. After exiting the city you can enjoy a ride through the Botanical gardens where you will see a wide variety of lush Plant life on the 36 acres of land. Inside the Botanical gardens you will find the official home of the Premier of Bermuda. After enjoying the Gardens we will return you to the Ferry terminal on Front Street.
